Makers Markets and Open Studios at Perth Creative Exchange

At Creative Catalyst we encourage our young creatives to think of ways they can create products to sell and exhibit at the Makers Markets and Open Studios here at Perth Creative Exchange. Their products are also for sale in our online shop. (link to shop)

The young people are also encouraged and supported to prepare, set-up and host the market table. This exercise enables young people to be enterprising with their creativity and is incredibly validating for them to receive encouraging feedback (and hard cash!) from customers. They also develop transferable skills such as branding, time-management, interpersonal, collaboration, selling, attention-to-detail and numeracy.
